Mental Health Training SessionsFace to face courses being run @ Dowty sports & social club Understanding Personality Disorder Training – 8/10/20 To develop understanding of the diagnostic category of ‘personality disorder’ in order to better provide services and support that can make a positive difference to people’s lives. It is suitable for staff and managers from all services in the Statutory, Voluntary and Independent sectors. Responding to people in Mental Health Crisis – 27/10/20 Grounded in best practice this one day course develops confidence and communication skills to respond safely, appropriately and confidently to people experiencing a range of mental health crisis. Fundamentals of Care – Phase 1Phase 1 of the Fundamentals of Clinical Care Programme is a clinical skills awareness training for Care Workers in community settings. We have spaces available on our next cohort which commences on 1st October, this is a highly regarded programme designed to support the delivery of more complex care within the community. Registered Managers Development ProgrammeWe have spaces on our upcoming Registered Managers Development Programme (previously titled the New Managers Induction Programme). This programme is for Registered Managers and Deputy Managers in Adult Social Care Settings. One Day Dementia training – Face to faceTuesday 13th October 9:30-16:30, The Pavilion, Cheltenham. This session has a maximum capacity of 15 delegates and will adhere to strict social distancing regulations. The Dementia Education Training Team will be offering delegates a choice of Face-to-face or Virtual workshops for the One day Dementia course from September. Safeguarding Adults Level 2& MCA Level 2 Online E-learning CourseWhilst we are unable to deliver face to face training due to Covid-19, GSAB’s Level 2 Safeguarding Adults and Level 2 Mental Capacity Act have been converted to online E-Learning modules, and are available on LearnPro Community. The courses are suitable for all front line care workers and volunteers who are supporting adults with care and support needs. Remember, Safeguarding is Everybody’s Responsibility! |
