The multi-professional 20 credit Pathophysiology and Diagnostic Reasoning for Advancing Practice (PADRAP) module will build on knowledge to improve understanding and critical evaluation of the pathophysiology and diagnostics of common diseases seen in clinical practice.

This level 7 (Masters level) module explores the links between the pathophysiology of disease processes and the diagnostic testing process with emphasis on learning to discriminate between different diagnostics modalities and the evaluation of results.

On successful completion of this 20 credit Minor illness and Minor Injury in Children module, you will be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge of the implications of the main anatomical and physiological differences between adults and children, for the management of minor illness and injury.
Identify and evaluate patho-physiological features which can precipitate minor illness, and injury in children and be able to articulate the clinical application of this knowledge.

Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the implications of the main anatomical and physiological differences between adults and children, for the management of minor illness and injury and be able to critical analyse the application of this knowledge.
