Education Days Update
Given the current pressures that the Trust is experiencing, certain elements of mandatory training are being re-profiled to allow for a more efficient model of delivery. It should be noted that education is not being cancelled and all colleagues will still receive the education day that they are required to attend during 2024/25 and 2025/26.
The original delivery model includes four Education Days as follows:
- Clinical Education Day (Clinicians only)
- Conflict Resolution and Restrictive Interventions Training (CR&RI)
- Core Skills 1
- Core Skills 2
Delivery of Core Skills 1 and 2 will continue as planned for this financial year.
Clinical Education day will be delivered to 70% of clinicians this year and the remaining 30% in the first quarter of next year. Conflict Resolution and Restrictive Interventions Training will cease delivery w/c 23rd September and will be re-profiled for w/c 6th November to the end of the financial year. This will be delivered to colleagues who are a priority; either already expired or due to expire this year. ROC will be in touch regarding those who will be re-profiled and required to attend this training.
Self-Bookers
The above also applies to those who self-book their Education Days. ROC will contact those who are a priority for CR and RI. For Clinical Education Day we are currently profiling weekend delivery which will be available as soon as possible. Core Skills 1 and Core Skills 2 are sill available to book via the self-booking page on this website.
