SWASFT clinical staff (frontline or EOC) are invited to take part in this short survey on the recognition, management and knowledge of functional seizures. Functional seizure is a term used to describe convulsion-type activity that is not epileptic in nature. Other terms may include psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, non-epileptic attack disorder, dissociative seizures or conversion seizures.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes and is part of a service evaluation to explore ambulance staff experience of caring for patients experiencing functional seizures.

The survey is open until Thursday 3rd April 2025.
