The University of the West of England (UWE) is pleased to announce a small number of awards to support allied health professionals (AHPs), nurses and midwives to undertake health research training as part of their clinical academic development.

 

1) UWE Bristol Personal Research Training Awards
Professional Research Methods Modules

WHAT THE AWARD INCLUDES
Successful applicants will be enrolled onto one of three Research methods modules to gain Masters level academic credit (15/20 credits):

      • Health and Social Care Research: Methods and Methodology
      • Qualitative Health Research
      • Quantitative Health Research
The successful applicants will also receive academic support to develop their health research topic and to apply for further funding. Options are available for start dates and distance (online) learning.

2) UWE Bristol Personal Research Training Awards
Dissertation Module

The University of the West of England (UWE) is pleased to announce a small number of awards to support allied health professionals (AHPs), nurses and midwives to undertake a dissertation as part of a Professional Development Masters Degree.

WHAT THE AWARD INCLUDES
Successful applicants will be enrolled onto a Masters dissertation module and undertake their own health research project with support from their supervisor. You will work with your supervisor to develop the aims, questions and strategy of your dissertation. Options are available for start dates.
