NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR NURSES & MIDWIVES:

 

The next cohort commencing in October 2024 is open exclusively to only three regions, including the South West, following the success of the first two cohorts of the of the new Nursing and Midwifery Equity Programme. This refreshed programme has been designed by EDI experts Inclusivitii and, learning from feedback given from the Getting to Equity programme, will feature shorter but equally effective learning and development sessions, making it easier to fit into the busy schedule of healthcare professionals.

This initiative aims to identify and nurture existing talent within the NHS, that might otherwise remain unrecognised or lack opportunities to ascend into senior executive roles NHS. Through self-assessments, eLearning, virtual masterclasses and group coaching, the programme aims to create a pathway for more diverse healthcare leadership, ensuring that promising professionals receive the support and visibility they need succeed. There 12 spaces for Sponsors and Sponsorees in the South West.

Eligibility criteria:

    • Sponsors: Band 8c, 8d and Band 9 Chief Nurse / Director of Midwifery / Executive Director of Nursing.
    • Sponsorees: Band 7 and above Global Majority nurse or midwife
