PARAMEDIC SCIENCE QUALITY REVIEW – Focus Groups

An invitation from Health Education England to join a feedback session to share your experience of paramedic clinical placements for current students, NQP’s and Practice Educators.

At Health Education England (HEE), our job is to support you to learn to deliver excellent care to patients in a safe clinical environment.

HEE works in partnership with Provider Trusts, Ambulance Trusts and Universities to ensure that placements offer students a positive experience, with high-quality learning opportunities. We also support educators to deliver excellent education and training.

To understand your experiences, we would like to invite you to join one of the paramedic review focus groups listed below:

  • Newly Qualified ParamedicsThursday 13th October at 3pm Now 2nd Nov at 11:00-1200
  • Practice Educators (including Academics in Practice) – Thursday 20th October at 2pm
  • Apprenticeship Students-Friday 21st October at 11.30am
  • Current Students-Thursday 3rd November at 2pm

The sessions will be for one hour and will be held virtually via the Microsoft Teams platform. There will be representatives from HEE to listen to your valuable feedback. This is the first time such a wide-ranging review has been undertaken and we encourage you to be part of it. Please be assured that everything discussed in the session will be kept confidential. This review has been specifically designed to understand your experiences and the support you have received in key areas, such as induction and clinical supervision and your overall health and wellbeing.

The information gathered will be anonymised and key themes identified to help us to further understand your clinical learning and your clinical outcomes during this year. The information will also help us to understand the things most important to you and is an opportunity for you to help shape education and training for the future.
