Take this course to gain a comprehensive understanding of autism and how to support individuals with autism.

You’ll learn how autism impacts sensory processing and communication, and the characteristics that individuals with autism may display, such as difficulties with social interaction and repetitive behaviours.

The course also covers common associated conditions like anxiety and ADHD, and challenges common misconceptions about autism.

You’ll gain insights into the different communication difficulties experienced by individuals with autism, and how to support effective communication. Additionally, you’ll learn about legal frameworks and guidance supporting autism, such as the Equality Act 2010 and NICE guidance.

By course end, you’ll be equipped to provide effective support, positively impacting the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

 

Cost: As a result of government funding, this qualification is currently being offered for free. Please note that the number of funded spaces are limited – book early to secure your spot.
