Time is our most precious resource. It cannot be bought, saved, or stored. The management of time is therefore essential for a productive and balanced life. Using time management principles helps us improve the quality of our life by setting priorities and making choices, thus giving us a feeling of control and the ability to achieve reasonable goals.

Most people are highly motivated and effective in our endeavours, but healthcare professionals lead stressful lifestyles with ever increasing burdens as their responsibilities expand. This workshop starts the journey of recognising the demands on our time and taking on board methods to manage them.

Format: This is a virtual, full-day workshop.

Eligibility: Open to all staff

Objectives
By the end of one day workshop, delegates will:
• Identify who and what steals your time, and consciously defend this precious resource better.
• Prioritise more effectively – putting the right tasks and activities ahead of those that can wait.
• Decide what you really need to do, and what is better done by others.
• Utilise rituals to make your life run smoothly.
