
The Paramedic Profession: Determining our own future

This flagship event brings together professionals from across the UK to share experiences and explore the future of the profession.
Set within the Celtic Manor Resort, the two-day conference offers a dynamic mix of inspiration, learning, debate, innovation and connection for the whole profession and wider colleagues.
Featuring high-profile UK speakers and national leaders, sessions will address key challenges facing paramedics, including disaster response, frailty, professional identity, leadership, quality and system change.
The programme includes keynote presentations, panels, debates, live conversations, round tables and practical workshops, giving delegates the opportunity to listen, challenge, question and contribute – there will be something for everyone!
Cost: Your ticket (any type) will be funded by SWAST CPD. Please note: We are unable to cover the cost of travel and accommodation expenses.
Eligibility: Open to all staff. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer tickets to undergraduate students.

Booking: This event is open to expressions of interest – we aim to purchase tickets for all (up to our capacity), however this may be determined by availability at time of booking. As turnaround for this will be tight, there may not be time to double check if you are still able to attend. - Understanding knowledge of, and confidence in supporting breastfeeding
- The power of peer support and good coffee in building resilience: A pathway to better mental health through a community interest company
