Please note that we are likely to buy a ticket for all those who submit an expression of interest form. Therefore, it’s important that you check you’re able to make the date of the conference before submitting.

 

Eligibility

This symposium is suitable for registered staff. Unfortunately, we are unable to buy tickets for students for this event.

 

Booking

Unless you are happy to fund independently, please do not book your place directly with the provider, as it will not be possible to reimburse you. Instead, please use the expressions of interest form below.

 

Funding

CPD are able to cover the cost of the ticket. Unfortunately, we are not able to fund travel and further expenses.

For the 3rd PROMPT Maternity Foundation Symposium, the focus will be on this year’s theme: ‘Making the Right Way, the Easy Way‘.

This two day event is packed with keynote sessions, inspiring talks, interactive workshops, demonstrations, oral and poster presentations. Bringing together midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists, paramedics, and allied health professionals involved in local multi-professional training and improving maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Day 1

  • Inequities and Inequalities in Maternity Care – Finding solutions
  • Pre-Hospital PROMPT
  • Keynote Session: Your chance to ask key leaders about the future of maternity care
  • PROMPT Around the World – Sharing experiences
  • Keynote Session: Pregnancies for high performance athletes

Day 2

  • Keynote Session: Improving Improvement in Maternity Care
  • Workshops and Demonstrations
  • Keynote Session: Team-working in Other settings – 200 years of the RNLI
  • Oral presentations: Experiences of implementing local multi-professional maternity training.

 

Refreshments and lunch will be provided throughout both days.

This is a two day event.
