This interactive online session will equip you with essential knowledge and practical skills to confidently manage patients with tracheostomies in pre-hospital and emergency settings. Learn to accurately distinguish between tracheostomy and laryngectomy, understand the implications for airway management, and apply evidence-based strategies for emergency interventions. To consolidate your learning, we’ll use realistic case-based scenarios to reinforce emergency protocols and decision-making under pressure. We’ll also explore holistic patient considerations, including communication, psychological support, and multidisciplinary care pathways.
