In an emergency, would you know what to do?

Funded by the South Western Ambulance Service Charity, eLifesaver is an award winning interactive game from Resuscitation Council (UK) where you learn CPR, how to use an AED and find out what it’s like to be a saviour in an emergency.

eLifesaver is your opportunity to learn what an emergency looks like and how you should respond to it. By learning essential lifesaving skills, you have the power to help increase the number of people who could survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the South West.

Completion of this course will result in you receiving an RCUK eLifesaver certificate.

Learning outcomes

After successfully completing eLifesaver, you should be able to:

  • Describe the importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival
  • Recognise the signs of someone needing CPR.
  • Perform high-quality CPR for adults.
  • Understand the importance of early use of an AED and be confident its use.

After completion of eLifesaver you will have the opportunity to attend an optional face-to-face session to practice your new lifesaving skills. Dates and venues are to be confirmed but coming soon in Autumn 2023.

eLifesaver is available for all staff in all roles! However, it may be especially useful for staff who don’t necessarily have any clinical training in non-patient facing roles.
