SWAST CPD is taking Expressions of Interest for places
If we have enough interest we will go ahead & purchase this face-to-face one-day workshop.
Dates are TBC at this stage, but won’t be until 2025. Once dates are confirmed we will require commitment as there are minimum numbers for this course to be viable. Please note funding will cover the cost of a place on the course, but unfortunately we are unable to cover travel nor other expenses.
Embark on a dynamic educational journey that balances profound theory with thrilling hands-on experiences. Our accomplished academic experts will guide you through the theory sessions in the morning, whereas you’ll step into a realm of innovation and realism in our state-of-the-art BLIS facility (Blended Learning Interactive Simulation) during the afternoon practical sessions, where learning truly comes to life.
The content of the course:
- Anatomy and physiology
- ECG principles and settings
- Leads placement, sinus rhythm & cardiac axis
- Atrial, ventricular & conduction abnormalities
- Cardiac ischaemia
- Systematic approach to rhythm recognition
- Clinical case studies and practice
