This interactive session is designed for paramedics and clinicians who want to enhance their understanding of pharmacology in the management of diabetic emergencies. We’ll explore the medications used in treating hypoglycaemia, hyperglycaemia, and diabetic ketoacidosis, linking pharmacological principles to pre-hospital decision-making. Case-based learning will be central to this workshop, helping you consolidate your knowledge and apply emergency protocols confidently in real-world scenarios. All pharmacology sessions have been designed so that they are attended as part of a series – however it is also okay to register for stand alone sessions or to complete out of order.
