Motorcyclists are some of our most vulnerable road users; unfortunately, they can also become worse off when an accident happens. In this session, we will cover:
- Why and how motorcycles crash
- Scene safety (specific to motorcycles)
- What a CRASH card is
- Safe removal of motorcycle helmets and clothing
- Go through trauma skills
Learning Outcomes
- Know how to approach the scene of a motorbike accident safely
- Understand what may of caused the accident
- Safely manage the patient
