A flexible, self-paced, virtual training package: access available for ~1 year (until Jan 2026).
The platform features six modules, each with an assessment and certificate on completion, as well as downloadable activity books and reflective journals.
Available as part of a package along with live study days, or by itself if you aren’t able to attend any of the live sessions.
Finding the Light in Dementia training is designed to provide a deep understanding of dementia.
This resource provides an overview of the how our brains work, as well as practical tips and approaches when it comes to what to consider, how to connect and how best to communicate with a person living with dementia. This training has been delivered to other ambulance services and well received with positive feedback.
