OPEN TO ALL STAFF – The Level 3 Award in Education and Training replaces the Level 3 qualification in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). Upon completion, you will be able to begin a career within a teaching environment as a support function, assisting teachers. It’s a great course for anyone wanting to get into teaching and is a fantastic stepping stone from an Assessor’s qualification or on to the Level 4 Certificate to become a teacher of adult education.
Attendance & Portfolio required (virtual) –
This course requires 100% attendance of 5 taught days by the awarding body to achieve the qualification. It also requires you to submit a portfolio of work. Failure to do so will mean you will not pass the course. Please think carefully about whether you can commit to this before applying.
