Overview
The shared preceptorship day is a fantastic opportunity to meet with likeminded preceptees from other areas within healthcare such as nursing, midwifery and physiotherapy. The day will provide a space where you can share your experiences of being a newly qualified healthcare professional and what your preceptorship involved. You will have the chance to learn from other’s experiences and provide support by sharing your own.
You will work as a team to run through a patient case and contribute your experience in managing a patient, this will provide valuable insight for your teammates in what your role entails and how the actions of other healthcare professionals impact you.
