In collaboration with Health Education England, we are excited to offer 20 fully funded places to our senior clinical leaders to achieve an internationally recognised ILM Level 7 Qualification in Coaching and Mentoring from the University of Cumbria.

The entry requirements to be considered for this programme are:

  • to have a minimum of two years service as a registered clinician
  • to be working in, or regularly acting up in, a management or leadership position

Suitable for OO’s that are regularly acting up to a DCC position. Please note priority will be given to managers and individuals in the talent pool in the first instance.

The cost of the course programme has been funded by Health Education England (HEE), however, abstractions for the compulsory induction day and the four (now virtual) classroom days have not been funded and you will be required to arrange these in your own time.
This programme is fully funded – but study time and attendance time will be expected to be in the candidate’s own time
You must complete both ILM and UOC components for the programme you sign-up for

ILM level 7 is aimed at middle and senior managers. Successful candidates will receive an ILM leadership award at level 7 and 20 academic credits at Level 7 (MSc) with UoC, that can be used towards a post graduate level qualification.

You can find more information about the ILM from their website here and more information about the course in detail here
